The GM Name

The name "GM" officially stands for Greenway Motorsport, but to those in the know, its actually the "Greenway Molester", a name fondly given to it by Tim H, based on what we do to the cars we own and what it could likely do to me in the event of a chain breakage!! Chain breakage is going to protected for by using some close fitting high tensile steel chain guards, so hopefully i wont lose a limb if it does happen. We then have the GM"2" and the GM"3" suffix, The GM body work is designed to fit a standard Vortx chassis, these will be know as GM2's, the chain driven car we are building will be kown as the GM3's, and in our case case we will have to shorten the body by 9" to fit the shorter wheel base. This has been considered during the design of the bodywork, and in theory the bodywork can be shortened any amount upto (and maybe more) than the 9" to accomodate what length of car is built.

So the official name of our new race car will be "MNR GM3", and hopefully we will be seeing the MNR Vortx GM2 on the grid once i have made bodies for Dave and Steve or anyone else who wants one.
